The Black Keys are a blues/rock duo that have come to be around 2002. With 7 albums under their belt they became commercially noticed when their song "When The Lights Go Out" was featured on the movie Black Snake Moan. Their albums are original as they are entrenched with the blues that saturates their songs.
The name Black Keys is in reference to people who "aren't quite right" and their label Fat Possum Records guarantees you like the album or your money back.
They are quite an amazing band of only two that everyone needs to check out. Your first stop should be "Rubber Factory" but all of their music is amazing.
