Thank You Boston Celtics 2010!

Well, we came up just a bit short in the NBA Finals after an lackluster season filled with injuries to the whole team, but made an improbable run to the finals knocking off the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Orlando Magic before the referee's took the series away from us and the evil empire was again handed a soiled and tarnished "championship." Even so, I am proud of my team and the entire roster that gave their all and showed nothing but heart, courage, and teamwork.

Rajon Rondo The "Lil Lion" emerged as one of if not the best point guard in the NBA today and is very young and his ever improving game will strike terror in the hearts of the league.
Paul Pierce The "Truth" never says die and leads his team with the confidence and dignity that the evil empire's leader lacks.
Kevin Garnett The spiritual leader of the squad battled injuries that many thought would spell the end of his career only to re-emerge in the playoff's bringing more passion than if Kobe had found a passed out hotel maid in his room.
Ray Allen The most beautiful shot in the league went ice cold in the finals but not before leading our team in scoring through the East and setting a NBA record 8 three point shots in one game.
Kendrick Perkins The new "Chief" with the constant scowl is the unsung hero of the squad holding down the paint with prejudice and playing the role of enforcer for the Celtics.
Rasheed Wallace I was never a big fan of this odd cat but he showed up when it mattered and his emotional outbursts lifted our team when needed.
Glen Davis "Big Baby" was asked to do a lot in a world of giants showing pure emotion and giving it all he's got.
Nate Robinson "Nate Dogg" helped regulate and give that energy spark we needed every time he stepped on the floor and after joining the team late and playing catch up to learn the system. The little hero has found a home as a fan favorite in Boston.
Tony Allen The defensive stopper of the team may not get the press, but he simply shuts people down and uses his amazing athleticism to keep opposing teams honest.
Brian Scalabrine My favorite fellow ginger in the NBA does whatever is needed and will give you over 100% (which is possible) even if he only plays a few minutes.

Thanks Boston Celtics for your blue collar work ethic and never say die attitude while entertaining us with your passion and skill.
