Joe Rogan Fired For Defending Fellow Comics

For those not aware, Joe Rogan has been fired from the legendary Comedy Store, for a recent altercation with hack comic Carlos Mencia.

In the stand up world, Carlos is known as a joke stealer, to the point in which comics will not do new material when he is around, and actually signal each other if he arrives during someones set. Thus beget a long standing and bitter feud between Joe and Mencia. At a recent evening at the Comedy Store, Joe Rogan was introducing the next act, when he saw Mencia in the crowd, and referred to him as "Menstealia." Carlos became incensed at the comment, and Joe invited him onstage to publicly speak about the matter. Joe gave examples of when and where Carlos stole material (and in the video shown on YouTube, spliced in proof with dates, showing when Carlos stole and used someone else's bits), and called up comics in house, that all backed up his story. The audience roared for Rogan, while Mencia denied his guilt.

In a dramatic ironic move, Mencia had the embarrassing video of him getting punked out like a bitch, taken off of YouTube for, heh, Copyright Infringement. I guess the guy does have a sense of humor, and a lot of balls. Joe Rogan was fired from the Comedy Store, which also frequently features Mencia, because he has a TV show (granted the show sucks ass) on Comedy Central. Keep in mind, Carlos real name is Ned, is half Honduran/ half German, and not Mexican, as he claims and bases his act upon.

Numerous comics have come forward backing up Joe Rogan, including George Lopez, who is suing Mencia and HBO, for airing a Mencia special that he claims, stole 13 minutes of his act! Ned is a disgrace to stand up comedians everywhere, who speak up and say the things that need to be said, whether controversial, or just the truth! Thank Joe Rogan for not putting up with this shit, and keeping some respectability in Stand Up comedy.

Dane Cook is also being sued by CK Louis for stealing jokes, and Joe Rogan has long lobbied that Denis Leary stole jokes from comic legend, Bill Hicks. All of these claims are provable, and blatant.
