Gin Blossoms Reunited

Gin Blossoms were always one of my absolute favorite bands who never put out a bad album. The problem was, they only put out 3 albums in their short but talent filled career. The Gin Blossoms originally formed in 1988 and released the album "Dusted." They then signed to A&M records and releases "New Miserable Experience." The album sold 3 million copies in 1992 but lifelong problems led to the suicide death of founding member Doug Hopkins in 1993. The second album, "Congratulations I'm Sorry," finally came in 1996 after their #1 hit, "Till I Hear It From You," from the Empire Records soundtrack. The album was certified platinum with over 1.5 million copies sold. They also received Grammy's and ASCAP awards. Yet, with all this success the remaining members of the band began to want different things and called the Gin Blossoms over.
Lead singer Robin Wilson went on to form the Gas Giants, while guitarist Scott Johnson joined Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers.
In 2000, the Gin Blossoms reunited for a one shot show in Arizona. Another show came in 2001 and the band began to enjoy playing together again. In 2002, they toured around 80 dates and decided to make a permanent return.
Now after touring through the years, the Gin Blossoms are working on a brand new album and are currently on tour in the United States. For tour information check out their official website at http://www.ginblossoms.net.

I cannot wait to hear some new songs from the band that brought us, "Follow You Down," "Hey Jealousy," "Till I Hear It From You," "Allison Road," "Until I Fall Away," "Follow You Down," "As Long As It Matters," and many more. Check back for a release date on the new Gin Blossoms album.
